# Principle attack the premise

After two fixes sharing a premise fail the same gate, write down that premise before trying another fix.

Use a rerunnable census to measure the imbalance per actor (`principle-build-the-lever`). If the same actors repeatedly carry it, find what assigns their role (`principle-fix-root-causes`). Remove or rotate that assignment rather than adding recurring compensation.

If the census is even, investigate another cause. Keep the measurements as evidence.
