# First-Drift Mechanism Stress Test

> Hand-designed mechanism stress test with matched availability controls. It directly exercises Plan Lattice enforcement boundaries and does not estimate general coding quality or real-world uplift.

**Result on these 12 engineered hazards:** native executed 12/12 unsafe mutations; Plan Lattice executed 0/12. Plan Lattice prevented 100% of the mutations this stress test was explicitly designed to trigger.

**Matched negative control:** Plan Lattice allowed 7/7 legitimate actions after the required basis was current. Native Harness allowed 7/7. The safety result is therefore not produced by disabling every mutation.

This is a mechanism test, not a sampled benchmark of software tasks. It demonstrates that the enforcement contract is live across the named invalidation surfaces. It does not establish a percentage improvement in general coding quality, success rate, or production outcomes.
