# Privacy Policy — Playlist Desk Last updated: 2026-09-24 Playlist Desk is a browser extension that lets you search, filter and edit your own YouTube playlists. **What it accesses.** When you open the panel on youtube.com, the extension reads the playlists of the YouTube account you are signed into, using YouTube's own web interface and your existing session. It only reads and edits playlists when you ask it to (Sync, Remove, Move, Copy). **Where data is stored.** The playlist index (video titles, channels, durations, thumbnails URLs) is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB so searching is instant. It never leaves your device. **What it sends.** Requests go only to youtube.com, exactly as the YouTube website itself does. The extension has no server of its own, no analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, and no third-party services. **What it collects.** Nothing. The developer receives no data from users of this extension. **Removing your data.** Uninstalling the extension deletes its local storage. **Contact.** https://x.com/SpartA1ah1 · https://github.com/1ah1/playlist-desk/issues Playlist Desk is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
