## Licence scope

The MIT licence in [LICENSE](LICENSE) covers the **plugin code** in this
repository: `index.js`, `client.js`, `cordis.patch.yml`, `verify/*`, and the
configuration and documentation files.

## Sample media is NOT covered

`media/视频测试.mp4` is a **sample clip**. It is not authored by this project and
it is **not** covered by the MIT licence above — no rights to it are granted or
claimed here. It is bundled so that the plugin plays something out of the box and
so that the media check in `verify/check-media.mjs` has a clip to verify.

If you fork this repository, or redistribute the package, replace
`media/视频测试.mp4` with material you hold the rights to. **No code change is
needed** — the bundled clip's file name is what the plugin resolves, so replacing
the file is the whole procedure.

The clip must contain an audio track, otherwise the feature this plugin exists
for has nothing to play. `npm run verify:media` checks exactly that.
