# Interval Timer Privacy Policy **Last Updated: October 15, 2026** ## 1. Introduction Interval Timer ("the App", "we") is an interval timer for iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy explains what information the App handles. The App works without an account. We do not run a server for this App, and we do not use an analytics or advertising SDK. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. ## 2. Information We Do Not Collect The App does not collect or ask for: - Your name, email address, phone number, or any account - Photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location - Health or fitness data from Apple Health - An advertising identifier (IDFA) or cross-app tracking - Analytics or a record of how you use the App, sent to us Spoken cues are generated on your device. We do not record or upload that audio. ## 3. Information Stored Only on Your Device The App saves the following on your iPhone so the timer can work. It is not uploaded to us: - Routines you create: names, durations, sounds, and structure (including warmup, cooldown, EMOM, and adding time each round) - Completed sessions: when they finished, how long they lasted, and which routine they were - Your choices: skin, language, cue sound, spoken cues, and weekly goal - Whether you have finished the first-launch screens - A cached copy of your subscription status, so paid features can still be recognized offline You can remove this data by deleting the App. ## 4. Notifications If you allow notifications, the App can schedule a local notification when a phase is about to end, including while the screen is locked. The notification stays on your device. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings. The timer still runs while the App is open if you decline. ## 5. Apple Watch If you use the Apple Watch app, your iPhone sends the current routine list, language, skin, and subscription state to your paired watch, and the watch can send a finished session back to the iPhone. This uses Apple's connection between your own devices. We do not receive that data. A session finished on the watch stays on the watch until the iPhone has received it. ## 6. Purchases and Subscriptions Paid features are an optional auto-renewable subscription. - **Apple (App Store)** processes the payment through your Apple ID. We never receive your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ - **RevenueCat** tells the App whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier created on the device, purchase receipts, subscription status, and basic technical information such as app version, operating system version, and App Store country. This is not linked to your name or contact details. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy You manage or cancel the subscription in Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions. How Information Is Used Information on the device is used only to run the timer, remember your routines and history, speak cues in the language you chose, show weekly goals, and unlock paid features when a subscription is active. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. ## 8. Children's Privacy Interval Timer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. ## 9. Security and Retention Data stays in the App's private storage, protected by the system sandbox and the device's own protection. Connections to Apple and RevenueCat use encrypted HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Local data remains until you delete the App. Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies. ## 10. Your Choices - Turn off notifications, or change the language, sounds, and weekly goal, inside the App or in iOS Settings - Delete everything stored by the App by deleting the App - Ask us to request deletion of the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to use those rights. ## 11. Changes We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do. ## 12.
