# Privacy Policy for Swiftflow Chrome Extension

**Swiftflow** is a minimal bookmark manager Chrome extension developed by Umesh Kumar Pal.

## Data Collection and Use
- The extension uses chrome.storage.sync to store user-created bookmarks (including title, URL, category, optional note, date, and deleted status) and user-defined categories.
- All data is generated and controlled by the user.
- No personally identifiable information (name, email, address, etc.), location data, web browsing history (beyond explicitly saved URLs), user activity logs, or any other sensitive data is collected.
- No data is transmitted to external servers, third parties, or the developer.
- Data is stored locally on the user's device and synced via Chrome's built-in sync service (handled by Google, encrypted by Chrome).

## Permissions
- **storage**: Used only to store user preferences locally in the browser.
- **tabs** : Used only to perform the extension’s core functionality and is not used to track browsing behavior.

## Data Sharing
- No data is sold, shared, transferred, or used for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any unrelated purposes.

## Changes to This Policy
- If features change to collect data in the future, this policy will be updated and users notified.
