What data does this extension collect?

Chess Puzzle Counter stores only the following data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage:

• Your chess.com username (so it can look up your puzzle stats).
• Today's puzzle count and a timestamp of the last update.

What data is sent to external servers?

The extension makes read-only requests to chess.com's public statistics API to retrieve your puzzle activity. No data is sent to any other server. The extension has no analytics, tracking, or telemetry.

Data sharing

This extension does not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties.

Permissions

• storage — to save your username and puzzle count locally.
• alarms — to periodically refresh your puzzle count.
• host permission (chess.com) — to fetch your puzzle stats and auto-detect your username when you visit chess.com.
