**I'm including a sample of the markdown styles I've adapted for this blog theme in case anyone else is interested in using them. A sample layout is provided below.**

#### Basic Typography

This is all simple markdown. **This text is bolded.** _This text is italic_ They can also be **_combined_** together. Or, we can highlight code: `ThisIsMyCode()`. Links work too [such as](#) or [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com).

## Tables

## Horizontal Separator

We can insert HTML as well. The HTML `<hr>` element is for creating a "thematic break" between paragraph-level elements. In markdown, you can create a `<hr>` with any of the following:

* `___`: three consecutive underscores
* `---`: three consecutive dashes
* `***`: three consecutive asterisks
