# QESN motion classification **Research author:** [Francisco Angulo de Lafuente](https://orcid.org/0009-0001-1634-7063) · [Citation](CITATION.cff). ## Research scope ![From pose sequence to a behavioural label. Pose keypoints; Window and encode; Evolve lattice; Class readout](docs/figures/flow.gif) *From pose sequence to a behavioural label.* [Static figure](docs/figures/flow.png). This repository studies classification of animal behaviour from sequences of keypoints. It is associated with the [MABe challenge](https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/mabe-mouse-behavior-detection). QESN is a computational model; the archive does not establish a quantum hardware experiment or the identity of the exact submitted notebook. ## Windowing and validation ![Overlap between adjacent 60-frame windows. Three conceptual windows sampled at 30-frame boundaries](docs/figures/windows.gif) *Overlap between adjacent 60-frame windows.* [Static figure](docs/figures/windows.png). The historical demo documents a 60-frame window and stride of 30. Use labelled evaluation with disjoint sequence or animal groups and distinguish local checkpoint diagnostics from platform scores. ## Reproduce and cite ![Separate the release gates. Compatible weights; Smoke run; Grouped evaluation; Versioned evidence](docs/figures/verify.gif) *Separate the release gates.* [Static figure](docs/figures/verify.png). The [quick demo](examples/quick_demo.py) requires a compatible checkpoint and configuration. Verify ownership and release terms for all weights and behavioural data before distributing them. Use grouped data splits and compare with explicit behavioural controls. **Attribution.** Cite [Francisco Angulo de Lafuente](https://orcid.org/0009-0001-1634-7063) using [CITATION.cff](CITATION.cff).
