## Journal names and cover artwork

The plugin can display the names, wordmarks and cover artwork associated with
*Nature*, *Science*, *IEEE* and *Elsevier*. Those names, logos and cover images
are trademarks or copyrights of their respective owners. They are included
here for descriptive, non-commercial visual identification only.

The MIT licence in `LICENSE` covers the plugin's source code. It does **not**
grant any rights to the journal names, wordmarks or cover images in `assets/`.
No affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from Nature, Science,
AAAS, IEEE or Elsevier is claimed.

If you intend to redistribute this package publicly, confirm that you have the
right to redistribute each cover image in your jurisdiction, or replace the
files in `assets/` with original artwork before publishing. The publisher names
and the layout code can remain; the image files are the part to review.

## Icons and fonts

`icon.svg` is an original drawing created for this project.

The skin uses the following system font families when available, without
bundling font files:

- Iowan Old Style / Palatino / Georgia for the journal serif
- SF Mono / Menlo / Consolas for the colophon and manuscript metadata
- The Harness UI font stack for controls and body copy

No font files are redistributed with this package.

## Reference

The floating quick-settings interaction is inspired by
[open-sea-skin](https://github.com/d-dev0101/open-sea-skin) (MIT). Paper Skin's
panel, styling and implementation are independent and do not include
open-sea-skin code or assets.
