SafeSubmit is a browser extension that detects scam and phishing signals on web pages and warns users before they submit sensitive data.

- Website content (page text and form field labels) is analyzed locally on your device to detect scam signals.
- We do not collect or transmit form values (passwords, OTPs, card numbers, or IDs).

## Data we store (local only)
- Settings (enabled/disabled, sensitivity, allowlist) are stored locally in your browser.
- Optional reports you create are stored locally on your device.

## Data we do not collect
- Personally identifiable information, authentication data, financial data, location, browsing history, or communications are not collected or transmitted.

## Data sharing
- We do not sell or share user data with third parties.
- No data is sent to external servers.

## Retention
- Local settings and reports remain on your device until you remove or clear them.
