AnyPay for Steam provides a simple helper to top up your Steam Wallet with any custom amount and see live currency conversions. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what is stored locally.

Data collection

• No personal data is collected by this extension.
• The extension only fetches public exchange‑rate JSON from a third‑party API (open.er-api.com) to calculate currency conversions.
• No Steam account data, payment data, or user‑identifying information is read, collected, or transmitted by the extension.

Local storage

The extension caches fetched exchange rates and a timestamp in Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to improve performance and allow short‑term offline conversions. Cached rates are used solely to display conversion results and the cache age in the popup. They are not shared with any third parties.

Network access

The extension performs simple GET requests to https://open.er-api.com/* to retrieve up‑to‑date exchange rates. No credentials, API keys, or user tokens are transmitted to this host—only anonymous, public rate data is requested.

Remote code

All JavaScript and resources are bundled inside the extension package. The extension does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly.

Third parties

Exchange rates are provided by a public API (open.er-api.com). AnyPay for Steam is not responsible for that service's privacy practices; refer to their site for details.

Data sharing and selling

AnyPay for Steam does not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties.
