# Terms of Service for ARC RAIDERS Event Tracker Bot

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting and using the ARC RAIDERS Event Tracker Bot ("the Bot") in your Discord server, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please remove the Bot from your server immediately.

## 2. Description of Service

The Bot provides the following functionality:
- Real-time event tracking for Arc Raiders
- Event notifications via direct messages
- Per-server configuration management
- Command-based interaction system

## 3. Data Collection and Usage

### 3.1 Data We Collect
- **User IDs**: Stored when users subscribe to event notifications
- **Guild (Server) IDs**: Stored for server-specific configuration
- **Channel IDs**: Stored for event posting and notification channels

### 3.2 How We Use Data
- User IDs are used exclusively to send event notifications via direct message
- Guild and Channel IDs are used to post event updates in configured channels
- No data is shared with third parties
- No message content is stored or logged
- No user activity is tracked across servers

### 3.3 Data Storage
- All data is stored locally on the Bot's hosting server
- No data is transmitted to external services except as required for Discord API functionality

## 4. User Rights and Control

### 4.1 Opt-Out Options
Users may remove their data at any time using:
- `/removeall` - Removes ALL your notifications
- `/removespecific` - Removes a specific map/event notification
- `/mynotifications` - View your active notifications

### 4.2 Server Administrator Rights
Server administrators may:
- Configure the Bot using `/setup` commands
- Reset all server settings with `/setup reset`
- Remove the Bot from their server at any time

### 4.3 Data Deletion
All user data is automatically deleted when:
- A one-time notification is delivered
- A user manually removes their subscription
- A user is no longer in a server with the Bot

## 5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
- Use the Bot for any illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Bot
- Spam commands or attempt to overload the Bot
- Use the Bot to harass other users

## 6. Limitations of Liability

### 6.1 Service Availability
- The Bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime or error-free operation
- The Bot may experience downtime for maintenance or updates

### 6.2 API Reliability
- The Bot relies on third-party APIs
- We are not responsible for API downtime or changes

### 6.3 Notification Delivery
- We do not guarantee that all notifications will be delivered
- DMs may fail if users have DMs disabled
- It is the user's responsibility to ensure DMs are open

## 7. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Update these Terms of Service
- Change the Bot's functionality

Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

## 8. Termination

We reserve the right to:
- Block users who violate these terms
- Remove the Bot from servers that misuse it
- Discontinue the service entirely
