TabCraft Privacy Policy (Chrome Extension)
This extension does not collect sensitive user data. It temporarily accesses open browser tabs to suggest URLs for group creation and stores only your preferences (groups, themes, positions, settings) locally. No personal information is ever shared or transmitted.
All permissions are strictly required for the extension's single purpose: organizing websites into visual groups and launching them from your new tab page.
No broad host permissions (e.g., :///*) or invasive APIs (e.g., bookmarks, history) are used.
This configuration adheres to Chrome Web Store's Permission requirements.
Privacy Notes:

No external servers: All group data stays on the user's device.
No tracking: No cookies, analytics, or hidden data collection.
Website favicons: Loaded directly from Google's favicon service (not stored).
Premium features: Optional payment verification through ExtPay (extensionpay.com) only.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES USE:
Website Group Data - Group names, URLs, custom icons, and colors you create are stored locally in Chrome's sync storage.
Tab Information - Current tab URLs are temporarily accessed to suggest websites when creating groups (activeTab permission).
User Preferences - Theme settings, clock visibility, quote preferences, and group positions are saved locally.
Favicon Images - Website icons are fetched from Google's public favicon service to display group previews.
Premium Verification - If you choose to upgrade, payment status is verified through ExtPay's secure service.
WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES NOT USE:

Your browsing history
Personal information
Bookmarks
Passwords or sensitive data
Background tracking
Third-party analytics

DATA STORAGE:
All your groups, settings, and preferences are stored locally using Chrome's built-in sync storage. This data syncs across your Chrome browsers but never leaves Google's secure infrastructure.
