# Terms of Service

Welcome to PC Tweaker ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PC Tweaker, you agree to these Terms of Service.

## 1. What PC Tweaker does

PC Tweaker is a Windows desktop app that applies system tweaks (registry, power plan, network DNS, file cleanup) with automatic rollback — every change saves the original value before it's applied, so it can be reverted at any time. ## 2. Free and Pro tiers

- 33 tweaks are free to use, forever, with no account required.
- Pro unlocks the advanced tweaks and presets via a recurring subscription (monthly or annual, billed through Stripe Checkout) that renews automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime; Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the Free tier — cancelling does not undo tweaks already applied, it only locks further use of Pro-only tweaks and presets.
- A small number of early customers purchased a one-time lifetime unlock before the subscription model existed; that access does not expire and is unaffected by this section.
- Prices are listed in the app and may change; changes do not affect the price of an active subscription until its next renewal.
- Refund requests can be opened as an issue at [github.com/AurelioAvila/pc-tweaker-app/issues](https://github.com/AurelioAvila/pc-tweaker-app/issues) and will be reviewed case by case.

## 3. Accounts

An account (email + password) is only required to unlock Pro features across multiple installs. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

## 4. Use at your own risk

PC Tweaker modifies system settings (registry, power plan, DNS, files). While every tweak is designed to be safely reversible via the app's rollback feature, we provide the software "as is," without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damage, data loss, or system instability arising from use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

## 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to redistribute modified versions of the Pro unlock mechanism, or attempt to bypass the payment system.

## 6. Third-party services

We use Stripe for payment processing and an SMTP provider for account emails (verification, password reset). See our [Privacy Policy](https://github.com/AurelioAvila/pc-tweaker-app/blob/master/PRIVACY.md) for details.

## 7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
