IssieAlbum is developed by Issie Shapiro as a free educational photo album application for children with special needs. This privacy policy applies to both the iOS and Android versions of the app and explains how it handles your data.

## Data Collection

IssieAlbum does **not** collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data created within the app (albums, photos, drawings, audio recordings) is stored locally on your device only.

## Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions, all used strictly for local functionality:

### Camera
Used to take photos directly within the app to add to albums. Photos are saved locally on the device and are never uploaded or shared with any server.

### Microphone
Used to record audio narrations that accompany album pages. Recordings are saved locally on the device and are never uploaded or shared with any server.

### Photo Library
Used to import photos from your photo library into albums and to save exported videos. The app only accesses content that you explicitly select or save.

### Storage (Android only)
Used on older Android versions to read and write files for importing photos and exporting albums as ZIP files.

### Internet
Used solely to search for symbols and images from online libraries to add to album pages. No personal data is transmitted. No user-created content is uploaded.

## Data Storage

All user-created content (albums, pages, images, drawings, audio recordings) is stored exclusively on the device's local storage. The app does not use cloud storage, remote databases, or any external servers to store user content.

## Data Sharing

IssieAlbum does not share any data with third parties. The app does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Users may choose to export albums as ZIP files and share them using the device's built-in sharing functionality. This is entirely user-initiated and controlled.

## Children's Privacy

IssieAlbum is designed for use by children with special needs and their caregivers. The app:

- Does not collect any personal information from children
- Does not require account creation or login
- Does not display advertisements
- Does not include in-app purchases
- Does not connect to social networks
- Complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements
