Amicus

Amicus is an independent fork of "Claude Sidecar" by John Renaldi
(https://github.com/jrenaldi79/sidecar), used under the MIT License.

The original MIT License and copyright (Copyright (c) 2025 John Renaldi) are
preserved in full in the LICENSE file. Modifications and additions made as part
of Amicus are Copyright (c) 2026 Christian Wagner, also released under the MIT License.

Amicus bundles, as one installable system:
  - The upgraded fork of the Sidecar engine — CLI, Electron GUI, MCP server, OpenCode transport.
  - The "second-opinion" (LLM Council) skill   -> skills/second-opinion/
  - The "sidecar" ad-hoc multi-model chat skill -> skills/sidecar/

Claude is the orchestrator; the council and chat skills run on top of the engine.

The upstream project remains tracked as the git remote "upstream"
(https://github.com/jrenaldi79/sidecar) for future cherry-picks.
