# Yuedu Branding and Trademark Policy

The Mozilla Public License 2.0 applies to the source code in this repository. It does not grant permission to use project branding.

The following are not licensed under the MPL-2.0 and remain reserved by their respective rights holders:

- the names "Yuedu" and "Yuedu Reader", and the project's specific "閱讀" wordmark treatment, when used to identify this application or an official distribution;
- the application icon, logos, wordmarks, screenshots, promotional artwork, and other brand assets;
- any wording or presentation that suggests a modified build is official, endorsed, or maintained by the Yuedu project.

Publicly redistributed forks and modified builds must use their own bundle identifier and distinct application name, icon, and branding. They must clearly state that they are unofficial and must not imply endorsement by the original project.

Accurate nominative references such as "based on Yuedu" are permitted when they do not create confusion about origin, sponsorship, or endorsement.

This policy does not restrict private builds or limit rights that applicable law provides independently of this document.
