Web Gatekeeper and its companion extension, Proctor, do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data outside the user’s device.

All information — including browsing time, website limits, and usage statistics — is stored locally using Chrome’s storage.local API.

The extensions do not connect to any external servers, and no data is shared with third parties.

Permissions such as tabs, storage, and management are used strictly for the following purposes:
tabs: tracking which website is currently active and measuring usage time;
storage: saving all data locally on the user’s device;
management: monitoring the status of the companion extension (Proctor) to maintain integrity and detect tampering.

By installing this extension, you acknowledge that no personal information leaves your browser.
