"lang": "en",
"value": "AV:N - Received IPv4/IPv6 UDP-Lite packets traverse the network input path into udplite_rcv/udplitev6_rcv and ultimately __udp_enqueue_schedule_skb(). A remote unauthenticated sender can reach this path by sending UDP-Lite packets to an affected UDP-Lite socket.\nAC:L - There is no race or difficult packet shaping requirement; once the UDP-Lite socket exists with the masked initialization failure, a packet deterministically dereferences the NULL udp_prod_queue. The allocation-failure precondition is influenceable via memory pressure, and uncertainty is scored toward lower complexity.\nPR:N - The receive path has no authentication or privilege gate for incoming UDP-Lite packets. Creating SOCK_DGRAM UDP-Lite sockets is also not subject to the raw-socket CAP_NET_RAW check, but the network trigger itself requires no privileges.\nUI:N - No victim user action is required after the affected UDP-Lite socket is present. The attacker only sends traffic to the socket.\nS:U - The crash occurs inside the kernel networking stack and affects the same security authority. There is no VM escape, sandbox boundary crossing, or separate security scope.\nC:N - The fault is a NULL/low-address pointer read of udp_prod_queue->rmem_alloc. This is a pure crash condition and does not provide an information disclosure primitive.\nI:N - The vulnerable operation is a read from a NULL-derived pointer before any write through that pointer. There is no memory corruption or data modification primitive.\nA:H - The NULL pointer dereference in softirq receive processing can produce a kernel oops/panic and deny service. It is repeatedly triggerable by sending packets to the affected socket."
