Study Nook Privacy Policy

Study Nook (package com.evmodu.studynook) is a local-first focus timer. It does not require an account and this release does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Information stored on your device

The app stores timer settings, selected study subject, daily goal, reduced-motion preference, active or paused timer state, and completed focus-session history in local app storage. This information stays on your device and is removed when you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Notifications

If enabled, the app may request notification permission and schedule a local alert at the end of a focus or break session. The alert is generated on your device and the timer works if permission is denied.

Network services, analytics, and advertising

This release has no account service, cloud backend, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or internet permission.

Children

Study Nook does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future release adds cloud, analytics, or advertising features, this policy and the corresponding store disclosures will be updated before that release.
