--- name: tell-story description: Turn a supplied story summary, scene, or idea into a five-panel comic; or research a named show or anime episode and retell it with a spoiler-controlled cliffhanger. --- # Tell a story 1. Choose the source. For a supplied summary, scene or idea, use its story facts; browse only if the user requests research or verification. For a show title without a usable summary, read [references/research-shows.md](references/research-shows.md) and research the selected episode with the host's available tools. A title alone defaults to episode 1. Ask one short question if the work or episode cannot be resolved reliably. 2. Select permitted facts using [references/spoiler-rules.md](references/spoiler-rules.md). Keep an internal allowed-facts list separate from excluded twists and later events. 3. Read [references/comic-format.md](references/comic-format.md) and rewrite those facts in its exact comic format. 4. Read [references/review-story.md](references/review-story.md), check the complete draft and repair failed checks before answering. The normal answer contains only the comic and its TLDR. Keep sources in working notes and provide them separately when asked, subject to higher-priority host citation rules. If browsing or essential input is unavailable, explain the limitation and request usable source material instead of inventing a story. These guides use the assistant's existing abilities.
