# Junk Food Calorie Counter

This project was initiated as part of an assignment to create a website. Inspired by the theme of 'junk food' for credits, I decided to design a simple yet informative Junk Food Calorie Calculator/Counter website. The goal is to help users quickly estimate the calorie amount of common junk food items.

To further enhance the website's utility and promote healthier choices, I've integrated a free API from Fruityvice. 
This feature suggests a healthy fruit alternative, complete with its calorie and protein information, encouraging users to consider nutritious options.

The UI uses a simple color scheme: **red** is prominently featured for elements related to junk food, symbolizing a 'danger' or 'caution' aspect, while **green** is used for the healthy fruit suggestion, representing a positive and healthy choice.
