Collect fresh leaves as dry ones are brittle and can break when making your leaf rubbing
Lay out plastic wrap (the same size as your paper) sticky side facing up
Arrange your leaves on the plastic and press them into place
Place paper on top of the leaves
Gently rub the crayon across your paper creating an impression of the leaves below
Vary and blend colors, and experiment with how hard you press down on the crayon to create your unique artwork
