Sign-in over plain HTTP: browsers reject n8n's default secure cookie. Set N8N_SECURE_COOKIE to false for LAN access without HTTPS. Your own shares: fill in an Extra Path. The Read/Write Files node may use the Extra Paths, n8n's file protection stays on. Code nodes also need NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_BUILTIN=fs,path. Updates: stable follows n8n's newest stable release, including major versions. To stay on one version, use a fixed tag such as n8nio/n8n:2.45.7.
