Crisnat Foundations ("we", "us", or "our") built the SkyBound app as a Free ad-supported utility. This SERVICE is provided by Crisnat Foundations at no cost and is intended for use as is.

SkyBound is designed to operate with maximum privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not store your personal data on any external servers.

However, to provide our core functionality, the app requests certain permissions and accesses specific types of data *locally* on your device:

*   **NASA API Data:** The app fetches the Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) and historical cosmic archives directly from NASA's public servers. No user-identifying data is sent to NASA during these requests.
*   **Set Wallpaper Permission:** To use the "Set Wallpaper" feature, the app requires permission to modify your device's background. This is handled strictly on-device to apply the selected high-resolution image.
*   **Storage Caching:** SkyBound uses a local disk cache (up to 250MB) to store previously viewed images, allowing for faster loading and reduced data usage. This data is stored locally and never shared.

## Advertising and Third-Party Services

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app, which helps keep the app free. This includes basic banners and rewarded video ads. Ad networks may collect specific information to serve personalized ads:

*   **Ad ID:** Your device's advertising identifier.
*   **Usage Data:** Non-personally identifiable information regarding how you interact with ads.
