# KWOK (`K`ubernetes `W`ith`O`ut `K`ubelet) ![kwok](https://docs.daocloud.io/daocloud-docs-images/docs/community/images/kwok.png){ align=right } KWOK is an open source project independently developed by DaoCloud and managed by the Kubernetes-SIG community. [KWOK](https://sigs.k8s.io/kwok) can build a cluster of thousands of nodes in seconds. In this scenario, all simulated nodes behave like real nodes, so the overall footprint is very small, and you can easily do this on a laptop. So far, two tools are provided: - **kwok:** simulates thousands of fake nodes. - **kwokctl:** A CLI to simplify creating and managing KWOK simulated clusters. See [https://kwok.sigs.k8s.io/](https://kwok.sigs.k8s.io/) for more in-depth information. ![Manage Clusters](https://docs.daocloud.io/daocloud-docs-images/docs/community/images/manage-clusters.svg) ## Community, Discussion, Contribution and Support The maintainers of this project can be reached at: - [Slack](https://kubernetes.slack.com/messages/sig-scheduling) - [mailing list](https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/kubernetes-sig-scheduling) [Learn about KWOK](https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/kwok){ .md-button } [KWOK blog post](../blogs/230301-kwok.md){ .md-button }
