# Parameter Templates

DCE 5.0 Kafka provides a parameter template feature to facilitate instance creation.

1. On the Kafka message queue page, click **Configuration Management** in the top right corner.

2. Click the **Create Template** button.

3. Enter a name, select the appropriate version, reference a built-in parameter template, and click **Confirm**.

4. A screen prompt will indicate successful creation. Refresh the page, click the **┇** on the right side to perform more actions.
