# Updating a MongoDB Instance

If you want to update or modify the resource configuration of MongoDB, follow the instructions on this page.

1. In the instance list, click the __...__ button on the right side and select __Update Instance__ from the dropdown menu.



2. Basic Information: You can only modify the description. Then click __Next__ .



3. After modifying the spec configuration, click __Next__ .



4. After modifying the service settings, click __OK__ .
