# Instance Topology

The MySQL instance topology displays the status of data synchronization between nodes within an instance, as well as basic information.

## Steps

Click to enter the details page of the target instance, then click **Instance Topology** in the left navigation bar.

- In the topology, you can see the master-slave relationships between instance nodes and the direction of data synchronization.
- Click the icons in the upper right corner to zoom in or out of the topology diagram.

- Hover over or click a node to view the details of the selected node.
