This defines the anatomical location where something occurs. For instance, hepatosteatotis occurs in the liver.
This is the species that the class is relevant to.
Assay that is activated at a given exposure concentration/dose.
Adverse Outcome
Any undesired and harmful effect or outcome.
Adverse Outcome Pathway

An Adverse Outcome Pathway (AOP) is a conceptual framework that portrays existing knowledge concerning the linkage between two anchor points - the Molecular Initiating Event (MIE), and an Adverse Outcome (AO), connected by a chain of Key Events (KE) and the relationships between them (KER).
The context for an AopEntity. Typically these are cell types, organs, life stages, etc.
An entity that is part of an adverse outcome pathway
This is the algorithm that is used to make a "hit" call from a bioassay. Generally, there is some type of decision rule that is used by an algorithm to make this call.
This class represents a hit call (ChemBioAssayCall) from a specific assay result at a specific chemical concentration (measure group) using a specific BioAssayCallAlgorithm. In other words, this is a collection class.
This class encodes a relationship between a chemical and a molecular initiating event. It is possible that a given chemical and MIE have more than one relationship. For instance, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) may activate and deactivate estrogen receptor activity, resulting in more than one relationship.
An individual's level of support for a concept being true or a fact.
1
A high level of confidence in the truth or factual nature of a concept. Generally one may think of this as spanning from 80% to 90% certainty. Based on the IPCC Uncertainty Guidance Note and https://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg1/en/ch1s1-6.html
Assay that is inactivated at a given concentration/dose
Key Event
A necessary event that must occur for an adverse outcome to develop or be triggered.
Key Event Components are measurable biological entities that make up a Key Event. They likely represent either different sequential steps of the Key Event (e.g., the different steps of fatty acid beta oxidation), or they represent parallel steps that all contribute to the Key Event.
A relationship between two key events.
These classes are placeholders for future use, and are not used at this time.
A low level of confidence in the truth or factual nature of a concept. Generally one may think of this as spanning from 10% to 50% certainty. Based on the IPCC Uncertainty Guidance Note and https://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg1/en/ch1s1-6.html
A medium level of confidence in the truth or factual nature of a concept. Generally one may think of this as spanning from 50% to 80% certainty. Based on the IPCC Uncertainty Guidance Note and https://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg1/en/ch1s1-6.html
Molecular Initiating Event
Assay that has no change compared to control.
This is a series of classes that are not in use at this time.
This is a series of classes that are not yet used.
A very high level of confidence in the truth or factual nature of a concept. Generally one may think of this as spanning from 90% to 100% certainty. Based on the IPCC Uncertainty Guidance Note and https://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg1/en/ch1s1-6.html
A very low level of confidence in the truth or factual nature of a concept. Generally one may think of this as less than 10% certainty. Based on the IPCC Uncertainty Guidance Note and https://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg1/en/ch1s1-6.html

This is the Bayesian natural spline metaregression algorithm. A probability function is derived at each tested concentration within a bioassay using a natural spline metaregression algorithm.
