In Feby. 1800 Mr John E Jones then at this place reced. from Mr Vinsans the Iron Mention.d in the A/c and Demanded payment for the balance Mr Vinsans then said he had paid the amount of all the goods sold to Mr Bolvan by Mr. Kendles order. I had him brought before Mr Zeno Trudo and as Bolvan then said that he had reed Orders to receive the Amount of the goods sold, Mr. Zeno Order.d that Kendle should make oath whether he had given such Orders or not as my agent and that If Mr. Kendle had never given Orders Mr. Vinsans should pay the balance which was at that time 64$. Mr. Kendle can now say whether he given Orders to Bolvan or not to receive the Money from Vinsans—this oath he did take in April 1800. but the business was not settled nor the Money Ever received
