Durham Hall October 8th 1811
Dr Sir
I have finally concluded to let you have the mill for 13,000—
Your offer was twelve and I will split the difference— I hope we
shall be able to bargain as I am desireous to Sell— hope shall soon
have the pleasure of seeing you at the Mines a little company would
be very acceptable at this time for I never saw this place half so
dismal as it appears now— The waggons will hawl out a load of
plank for Evins and return immediately to hawl for you as long as
you wish—
If you have any Salt come out from the village yet please send
out some.
