Sending Austin a Spanish passport of 1797.

Washington City March 9, 1820.

Sir,

I inclose, with this, a Spanish Passport of July 1797, in compliance with your request of Jan. 16.

This Passport, (with a number of Papers was received here about ten days after the Minister, Don Onis, had left the City on his way to Europe. I judged it useless to transmit the papers to Madrid.

If you will give me the Regt & Company in which Denny Green served in the late war, I shall be able to give the information which you request.
