The Bearer Mr. James Burnet of Pearl River has Just called upon me on his way to St. Antonio; he has a letter from the Governor Poindexter [Mississippi.] to all the facts there stated I can subscribe having been acquainted with him, his Father and family for near Twenty years - I have no news to write you, the Papers since you left us are barren I have sent such as I had to the Baron Bastrop, I shall be in N. Orleans in a few days, and if I can hear of anything Interesting I shall not fail to communicate it.
