Introducing Elijah Noble.

Lexington 7 June 1822.

Sir

I beg leave to introduce to you Mr. Elijah Noble who is attracted to Texas by the advantages which its fine soil, climate and cheap hands are supposed to offer. Mr. Noble is associated with other Citizens of this State who contemplate a removal thither, if the results of his present visit shall seem to favor their enterprize. I. have no doubt that they would prove a valuable addition to the population of the province; and I shall be obliged by your rendering to Mr. Noble every facility towards the accomplishment of his object which may be in your power

I have the honor to be Your ob. Servant

H. Clay.
