Stephen F. Austin Esquire Bexar

Dear Sir

Yours of 15th March was duly received. It will at all times afford us pleasure in hearing from you, and not less so in supplying goods to those of your acquaintances who may visit this port for supplies. The stock we generally have on hand belongs to merchants principally of this City, and it is seldom that we are permitted to sell otherwise than for cash, we can however supply them at a lower rate than most of our neighbours which in some measure will Compensate for prompt payment.
