I have engaged Mr Ingram as a Surveyor at the rate of five dollars a mile he to find his chain carriers and marker You will please direct him as to the quantity to be surveyed in each tract and the manner of laying it off—As a genl rule no Sitio tracts ought to be divided but I agreed to divide Mr Castlemans, as otherwise he cannot get his quantity without interfering with Rabb or Buckner—I shall return by the time you have finished those two surveys, and will meet you at Woods
