Sir since I came from Atoscoeete a Mr McCoy has applyed to
me for justice wishing me to make those French jentlemen pay him
his wages having turned him [off] without any reason, only his not
being able to attend to his business one day they are so far advanced
on their road and he is going into your Colony I wish you to give
him a fair tryal he has his witnesses with the waggons if he applys
for it.
