Nacogdoches October 7th 1824
Col Stephen Austin
Dear Sir I want you if you please to take the deposition of Mr
John Irons respecting A certain horse which he traded to Lacoast for
a cart while he was in this section of Country as the horse has been
claimed by Sepulver which has caused a great deal of Cavling and
Law suites as I want Mr Irons to state when he got the horse and
whare and of Who so that I may defend the rights of Mr Irons
properly in his absence and if he dose not give satisfactory
statement so that the thing can be done a way he will have the horse to
pay for I am yours respectfully
Fras Adams for James Dill
my respects to Col. Austin
