Dear Sir
I promised to Select a Track of Land for Doct. Keep and one
for Thomas Purvis and Capt. Brown and for the Randols. But in
consequence of my Bad health and other Misfortunes I shall not be
able to attend to it and must request you to make the selections for
them, as to my Own Business I Leave it to yourself and J. P.
Coles to decide on it as you may Think proper which will be
satisfactory to me I have Explaind my self to Coles—whom will
Explain to you I am in Bad helth But something on the mend
