some of the young men of this neighbourhood has obtained a
quarter League of land I have never applied for any though I think
myself as much Entitled to it as any Other of my age I was
amongst the first in the colony and of Cours had to under go as hard
times as any Other and if you think proper to let me have land I
will take it on a Small Creak a Considerable distance from boath
Rivers and Navasott you will Confer a favor by Writing to Col
Coles and let him know whether you will Exced to my proposition
