Privacy Policy for Spending Tracker Last Updated: November 12, 2025 This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use the Spending Tracker mobile application (the "App"). 1. Introduction Welcome to Spending Tracker. Your privacy is critically important to us. This App is designed to be a private, offline-first tool to help you manage your shopping expenses. The core principle of this App is that your personal financial data—your shopping lists, item details, prices, notes, and photos—is yours and yours alone. This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not collected, transmitted, viewed, or accessed by us in any way. This policy will explain: What information the App handles. How that information is used and stored. The role of third-party services like advertising. Your rights regarding your data under regulations like GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. For any questions about this policy, please contact us at: FBKDevelop@gmail.com 2. Information We Collect and Handle There are two categories of information to consider: data you create within the App, and data collected by third-party services. a) Information You Create (Stored Locally on Your Device) The App allows you to create and manage personal shopping data. This includes: Shopping lists and purchase histories. Market names. Item details: names, prices, quantities, notes, and discounts. Photos you take of items using the App's camera feature. Scanned QR/Barcode data. Your settings, such as spending limits and currency preferences. This information is generated by you and is stored in a sandboxed, private directory on your device's local storage. We, the developers of Spending Tracker, do not have access to this information. It never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up yourself. b) Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising Services (Free Version Only) The free version of Spending Tracker is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. To show you relevant ads and to operate their service, Google may collect certain information automatically, which includes: Device Information: Your device's advertising ID (IDFA for iOS, GAID for Android), device model, operating system, and version. Network Information: IP address, which may be used to estimate your general geographical location (e.g., country or city). Ad Interaction Data: Information about which ads you see and whether you interact with them. We have NOT implemented any other analytics services like Google Analytics. The only third-party data collection comes from Google AdMob in the free version of the App. The Pro version of the App does not contain the advertising SDK and does not collect this information. 3. How We Use Your Information Your Local Data: Is used exclusively to provide the App's functionality to you. For example, to display your current shopping list, show your purchase history, and calculate analytics on your device. Advertising Data (Free Version): Is used by our partner, Google AdMob, for the following purposes: To serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements. To prevent you from seeing the same ad too frequently (frequency capping). To provide aggregated, anonymous reporting for ad performance. For more information on how Google handles your data, you can review Google's Privacy & Terms: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads 4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention All your personal shopping data is stored on your device using Flutter's standard application directories. Deleting the App from your device will permanently delete all of this data. We do not implement our own security measures for this local data; its security is dependent on the security of your device's operating system. If you use the biometric authentication feature (Fingerprint/Face ID), the App uses your device's native secure authentication services. The App does not receive, handle, or store your biometric data. 5. Your Data Rights and Choices (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA) You have comprehensive rights and control over your data. a) Access, Correction, and Deletion Since all your shopping data is stored locally on your device, you have direct and complete control: Access: You can access your data at any time by opening the App and viewing your lists and history. Correction: You can edit any item or purchase directly within the App. Deletion: You can delete individual items or entire purchases from the History page. To delete all your data, you can simply uninstall the application. b) Opting Out of Personalized Advertising (GDPR Consent & CCPA/CPRA "Do Not Sell or Share") Personalized advertising is what funds the free version of this App. Under laws like GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to control how your data is used for advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising by following the instructions for your device: For Android: Navigate to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization. For iOS: Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Tracking and turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track". You can also go to Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising and turn off "Personalized Ads". Opting out will not stop you from seeing ads, but they may be less relevant to your interests. 6. Children's Privacy This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at FBKDevelop@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action. 7. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or its store listing. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. 8. Contact Us If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, please do not hesitate to contact us. Developer Email: FBKDevelop@gmail.com
