# ShopShot Privacy Policy **Effective date: September 1, 2026** ShopShot is provided by Fare Brothers, LLC ("ShopShot," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the ShopShot (the "App"). ## 1. Summary The current version of ShopShot is designed as an offline photo organizer. Photos and project information remain in the App's private storage on your device unless you choose to export or share them. We do not operate advertising or analytics services in the App, and the App does not send your photos or project information to our servers. ## 2. Information handled by the App The App may handle the following information on your device: - **Photos you capture or import.** The App processes images you choose to capture with the camera or select with Apple's photo picker. - **Project information.** This includes folder names, photo dates, identifiers, and the organization choices you make. - **Purchase information.** If you leave an optional tip, Apple processes the transaction. The App receives limited transaction information needed to confirm the purchase, such as the product purchased and transaction status. We do not receive your full payment-card details. - **Technical information stored by iOS.** Apple may independently collect diagnostic, purchase, or App Store information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive this information through the App unless Apple makes it available to developers through App Store services or you send it to us when requesting support. ## 3. Camera and photo-library access ShopShot requests camera access only when you use the capture feature. Importing uses Apple's system photo picker, which lets you choose specific images. The App requests add-only photo-library access when you ask it to save an image to your Photos library. The App does not access your microphone, contacts, or location. Imported and captured images are resized and re-encoded without EXIF metadata before being stored in ShopShot. You can change camera or Photos permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but other App features remain available. ## 4. How information is used Information handled by the App is used to: - capture, import, organize, display, export, and delete your photos; - maintain your folders and other on-device preferences; - complete an optional tip through Apple's in-app purchase system; and - respond to support, legal, or security requests that you choose to send us. We do not use information from the App for advertising, cross-app tracking, profiling, or sale. ## 5. Sharing and disclosure The App does not disclose your photos or project information to us or to third parties unless you deliberately export or share an image using Apple's share sheet or save it to your Photos library. The destination you select then handles that copy under its own privacy practices. Apple processes optional in-app purchases and may process App Store activity under its own policies. Any service provider that processes personal information on our behalf must protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We may disclose information you send directly to us if reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transfer. Because the App's library remains on your device, we cannot disclose content we do not possess. ## 6. Storage, security, and retention Photos and project information are stored within the App's private iOS container. ShopShot relies on iOS security protections, but no device or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and maintaining any backups you need. Photos and project information remain on your device until you delete them in the App or remove the App. Temporary export files are deleted after the associated sharing or saving flow ends where iOS permits. Copies saved to Photos, device backups, or third-party destinations must be deleted separately. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Apple determines retention for information it processes independently. ## 7. Your choices and rights You can view and delete photos and folders within the App, control permissions in iOS Settings, and remove the App and its locally stored data by deleting the App from your device. You can control copies exported to other apps through those apps and services. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information we hold about you, such as rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, or to receive a portable copy. Because we generally do not receive your App library, these requests ordinarily apply only to information you have sent us directly. Use the support contact on ShopShot's App Store listing to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity. ## 8. Children ShopShot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us, contact us through the support link on ShopShot's App Store listing so we can review and delete it where required. ## 9. International use Information you send directly to us may be processed in the country where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. ## 10. Changes to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable law. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a future version introduces accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or other server-based processing, we will update this policy before that processing begins. ## 11. Contact Questions or privacy requests may be submitted using the support contact provided on ShopShot's App Store listing.
