# Contributing When contributing to this repository, please first discuss the change you wish to make via issue, email, or any other method with the owners of this repository before making a change. Please see our [DEVELOPMENT.md](./DEVELOPMENT.md) to set up your environment ## Pull Request Process 1. Ensure any install or build dependencies are removed before the end of the layer when doing a build. 2. Update the README.md with details of changes to the interface. 3. You may merge the Pull Request in once you have the sign-off from the `CODEOWNERS`, or if you do not have permission to do that, you may request the second reviewer to merge it for you. ## Request for Comments and Reporting a bug Process 1. Create a new issue and select the appropriate template 2. Try your best to fill out the template, although not all sections are required 3. It may take a few days for someone to get back to you, please be patient. 4. When commenting on another RFC or BUG report please do not use `+1` or single emoji comments, always try to add value to the discussion
