# AGENTS

This directory is the shared inbox for **all user drops** related to any wiki under `/mnt/c/Users/jmcli/vault_sync/sync/wikis`.

## Purpose

- Accept raw input from the user before it is curated into a specific wiki
- Hold source material for plans, ideas, project histories, wiki expansions, or other future wiki content
- Act as a neutral staging area across all wiki types

## Rules

1. This directory may contain any file type dropped by the user.
2. Treat all files here as unprocessed intake unless the user says otherwise.
3. Do not assume which wiki a drop belongs to without clarifying with the user.
4. Do not silently move, rewrite, or classify intake content based on assumptions.
5. When intake content is formalized into a wiki, record that action in the target wiki's `HANDOFF.md` and relevant changelog.
6. If the LLM is making assumptions, it must clarify with the user before proceeding.

## Handling guidance

- Prefer descriptive filenames when creating notes here
- Keep original drops intact until the user wants them processed
- A drop here does not automatically become part of any wiki
