# upload

- URL https://pictshare.net/api/upload

If the upload was successful answer will look like this

Upload content by providing a link to the content. If the link points to a website, the HTML of the page is uploaded as a text bin.

# pasetebin.php
- URL https://pictshare.net/api/pastebin.php
- Method: POST/GET text
- Post var name: api_paste_code
- Answer: Plaintext URL to pasted bin

This API can be used to directly post text. Server responds with the URL to the bin or with an error message

### Example

Creating a new text bin that ready "Hello World"

# album

Create an immutable album (gallery) from a list of already-uploaded file hashes. The returned `.album` URL renders a thumbnail grid of all member files.

- URL: `https://pictshare.net/api/album`
- Method: POST
- Body var: `hashes[]` (array, one per file). All hashes must already exist on the server. Maximum 200 per album.
- Auth: same as upload (`uploadcode` required when `UPLOAD_CODE` is configured)
- Answer: JSON

Albums are immutable. To change contents, create a new album. Files are content-addressed — the album only stores hash references, not duplicates.

Common errors:

- `Missing or empty hashes array` — no `hashes[]` provided
- `Too many hashes. Maximum 200 per album` — array exceeds cap
- `Invalid hash value` — non-string or sanitization-rejected entry
- `Hash not found: <h>` — one of the referenced hashes does not exist on this server

Visit the returned `url` to view the gallery. Visit the `delete_url` to delete the album (member files remain).
