# Third-Party Notices DUMB itself is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3. See [`LICENSE`](LICENSE). This file records notices for third-party components that DUMB redistributes in its container image. It does not change those components' licenses, grant trademark rights, or replace license files retained by package managers and language runtimes. ## License and notice locations in the container The image installs this file at: ```text /usr/share/doc/dumb/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md ``` DUMB also preserves license material supplied by its base image, operating system packages, language runtimes, and Python packages. The complete corresponding source is available from the upstream repository. --- ## mediastorm - Project: - Upstream license declaration: MIT in the project README - Maintainer review: the upstream repository does not currently publish a standalone license file containing the applicable license text. - Note: the DUMB-installed mediastorm runtime also includes Deno (MIT), yt-dlp (Unlicense), and the upstream Iroh bridge and their transitive dependencies. Python package license files remain under `/mediastorm/runtime/python-venv/` where supplied by their distributions. --- ## AIOStreams - Project: - Upstream license declarations: the repository `LICENSE` file and official OCI image label identify GNU General Public License version 3, while the root `package.json` currently declares MIT. - Maintainer review: upstream should clarify this metadata conflict; DUMB does not choose or invent replacement terms. - Note: DUMB installs the complete `/app` runtime from the official multi-architecture OCI image.
