**We introduce Gated Token Recurrence (GTR), a softmax-free recurrent vision backbone that combines gated linear attention, alternating spatial scan directions, and spatially enhanced SwiGLU blocks.**
GTR models deliver strong dense predictions across segmentation, pose, depth, and detection, while scaling efficiently to high-resolution inputs.

One GTR backbone, five dense prediction tasks on the same driving clip: object detection, instance
segmentation, pose estimation, semantic segmentation and metric depth.
