# Adeve Windows Portable Preview This preview is for non-technical Windows testers who want to run the local demo without learning the full Node.js workflow. ## Requirements - Windows 10/11 - Node.js LTS installed from [https://nodejs.org/](https://nodejs.org/) ## Start Double-click: ```text start.bat ``` It will: 1. Check Node.js. 2. Create `.env` from `.env.example` if needed. 3. Run `npm install` if `node_modules` is missing. 4. Run `npm run db:init`. 5. Run `npm run demo:all`. 6. Open [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000). 7. Start `npm run dev`. Keep the terminal window open while testing. ## Stop Double-click: ```text stop.bat ``` The stop script only tries to close a process listening on port `3000` when that process command line belongs to this project folder. If another app owns port `3000`, it will warn instead of killing it. ## Postiz Pilot Open: [http://localhost:3000/postiz-pilot](http://localhost:3000/postiz-pilot) Real Postiz scheduling requires: - `POSTIZ_API_URL` - `POSTIZ_API_KEY` - a valid integration id from Postiz - platform mapping - platform-specific settings Missing settings become `manual_required`.
